General Qualifications

Our teachers and staff are required to have a strong commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and be able to give a clear testimony of this faith. They must agree wholeheartedly with each of the tenets stated in our school’s Statement of Faith. Teachers should possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in the field in which they will be teaching, preferably with certification and teaching experience.

Openings for the 2017-2018 School Year:

  • M.S. Physical Science (2 classes)
  • M.S. History (4 classes)
  • M.S. Math (4 classes)
  • Home Economics (1 class)

Possible Openings:

  • H.S. Worldview/Apologetics (2 semester classes, requires related Masters’ Degree)

Teacher Positions (all levels) will be determined in the early spring, but applications are welcome now for early considerations for any open positions for next school year.

Job Salary & Benefits

In addition to salary, teachers and staff may also receive tuition benefits for their own children who are enrolled at River’s Edge Christian Academy.
