Welcome to River's Edge!
"But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him...
...They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream."
Jeremiah 17:7-8a NIV

River's Edge provides core curriculum instruction in a five-hour classroom day with afternoon classes available in the upper grades. This schedule allows students time to develop their individual God-given gifts while enjoying family life and learning in various settings. As a college-preparatory school striving for academic excellence, River's Edge is not only a certified UMSI high school, but our elementary through high school is dually accredited through both CSI and Cognia. Our K4-8th grade lower academy and our 9th-12th grade upper academy are both ACSI members.
Smaller Class Size
Average class size is 12:1 for elementary classes,
20:1 for middle school classes, and 20:1 for high school classes.
University Structured
Our students have on-campus instruction three days a week and instruction at home two days a week.
Biblical Worldview
A Biblical worldview is reflected in our school activities, curriculum, teaching, and also in our Statement of Faith.

Why Families Love River's Edge
Our family has been attending River's Edge since 2013. We were a public school family prior to RECA. We found the school to be such a safe place for education to take place, friendships to grow, and there's still plenty of time for family and any extracurriculars. My girls have been able to take music lessons, serve at local ministries and at church due to the schedule RECA allows their families to have. Also, the smaller class sizes allow your student to get to know their teachers on a much more personal level. Finally, we are so thankful that RECA continues to push good character within the school. Being in a school that honors Christ through instruction and interaction has been a blessing for us!
- John and Nikki Beach
Our family has been a part of River's Edge for the last ten years, and we hope to continue for 9 more years until all our children have graduated! There are many things we love about the school. We appreciate the commitment to quality academics while partnering with the parent to create a successful learning environment for the student at home and at school. The schedule of two days at home and three days at school has worked well for our family. It has allowed us more family time and more opportunities for music lessons, sports, and church activities. We also love how RECA tuition fits in our budget and is affordable. The teachers go above and beyond in helping your child to succeed academically. They have a real heart for the students and care about them as individuals. RECA teaches our kids a biblical worldview that supports what we are teaching them at home. We are so thankful for the teachers that set an example of living out their Christian faith before the students. We are blessed to be part of such a great school!
