Margaret Gilbert graduated from the University of TN with a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development and a Masters of Science in Early Childhood Education. She possesses a Tennessee teaching license and is highly qualified for Pre-K through sixth grade. Her teaching career ranges from Pre-K through college with five years experience in a christian school where she was an early childhood education director and teacher. With more than 30 years of classroom and administrative involvement, Margaret developed an Infant/Toddler Center along with a K-3 and K-4 program for a local christian school. She also originated and directed a mother’s day out program for a large Knoxville Church. As an Adjunct Instructor, she taught Early Childhood Ed. classes at Pellissippi State and Roane State Community Colleges. Margaret’s church involvement ranges from children’s ministries director to children’s choir leader. Her Christian life rests on the foundation of Hebrews 11:1, “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see”.
