A Knoxville native, Kimberly Klingerman graduated from Bearden High School and attended Lipscomb University in Nashville. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Medical Technology through a cooperative program between Lipscomb and Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She also holds minors in Biology and Chemistry. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, Kimberly enjoyed the privilege of operating a physician’s office laboratory near Parkwest for 3 years. She has been involved with RECA since 2003 in various roles including parent, substitute teacher, board member, and classroom teacher. Kimberly volunteers in the worship and children’s music ministries at her church, and enjoys reading, gardening, and playing piano in her spare time. She and her husband, Timothy, have been married for over 20 years and have three sons.
