Chris Hardee is the Middle/High School Administrator and holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Carson-Newman University and a Bachelor’s Degree from University of North Florida. He has been in the education field for over 10 years, working in schools in Florida, Tennessee, and Honduras. Chris has also served in various ministerial and leadership roles including Worship Leader, Missionary, Youth Leader, Small Group Leader, House Parent to teenage boys in state’s custody, and restaurant manager. He is married to Naomi and has six children, of which they have homeschooled since 2008. They are members of Basswood Church and love to worship, serve, and fellowship with their church family. One of Chris’ many favorite books of the Bible is Hosea. In Hosea, God punishes Israel for her continual unfaithfulness. After this discipline, the Lord has mercy on Israel, as He does time and time again. Hosea 2:23 says, “and I will sow her for myself in the land. And I will have mercy on No Mercy, and I will say to Not My People, ‘You are my people’; and he shall say, ‘You are my God.’” “If we are faithless, He remains faithful- for He cannot deny Himself” (2 Timothy 2:13). This is the beauty of the Gospel. God shows sinners mercy, making us a new creation through the blood of Jesus!
